Rowed at University of Washington, coached for Pocock Rowing Center and was Head Coach of Walt Whitman Rowing.

Hunter Coker is our freshman & novice coach. Along side his work with GWMR he is also the Boys Head Coach and U23/Open Men’s Coach for TBC Racing. Coach Coker joined GWMR after serving as the boys Varsity Coach at Whitman Crew in 2023-24, where he guided multiple boats to Stotes finals and CSSRA medals. As an athlete, Coach Coker rowed in Richmond, VA and for George Mason University.
